At Hudson, the essence of our community commitment is our people. It is through our 3,600 employees, working in 20 countries worldwide, that we are able to share our expertise as a leader in global talent solutions and carry out our commitment to responsible corporate citizenship.
What we offer individuals and organizations is best described by our brand promise — From great people to great performanceSM. This concept also guides our commitment to our community. We focus on making the workforce of today and tomorrow the best it can be through education, professional development and workplace innovation.
Our social responsibility program encourages employee involvement and is focused around three main pillars:
Employee Volunteerism: Our employees are our most powerful connection to the community and it is through their dedication, passion and expertise that we are best able to serve people in need. Through the Helping Hands volunteer program, every employee is eligible for one additional paid day to donate their time and expertise to a community initiative in our key focus areas of education or career enrichment.
Corporate Giving: Hudson Highland Group's corporate giving budget helps support local market sponsorships/activities in our key focus areas and also allows for in-kind giving in response to natural disasters or other instances of extreme need.
Responsible business practices: Our role as a global citizen is also manifested through our business practices and operations. From hiring men and women who reflect the diversity of the communities in which we operate, to practicing fair and equitable recruitment practices, to promoting high standards through our Code of Conduct, we are committed to acting legally, ethically and responsibly in everything we do.
